Joanna Bissey, 80, of LeRoy, passed away peacefully Friday night (March 24, 2017) at LeRoy Manor, LeRoy.

She was born April 22, 1936, in Saunemin, to Timothy Leo Donovan and Agnes (Nelson) Donovan. Jo married Eugene D. Bissey on March 1, 1957, in Dwight. Gene passed away Dec. 13, 2011.

Jo is survived by her devoted big brother, James Donovan, Dwight, and his lovely wife, Betty Donovan; her children, Dan (Neva) Bissey, Nancy (Tim) Mounce, Thom (Ruth Simons) Bissey; and her adorable grandson, Aron Mounce.

Jo was a longtime resident of Dwight. She spent her years tending to her many plants, feeding birds and being a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
